Mary M. McKamey, 91, Pensacola, Fla., formerly of Fillmore, Greencastle and Plainfield, died Jan. 26 at Pensacola, Fla. Born Sept. 9, 1905 at Fillmore, she was the daughter of Alexander and Dovie (Gibbons) Bryan.

A graduate of Fillmore High School and DePauw University, she was a homemaker, and also taught English at Fillmore High School for a brief time.

She was also employed in the Putnam County Clerk's Office during her father's term as county clerk during the 1950s.

She was a member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church, Fillmore Order of Eastern Star, Fillmore Mother's Club and Washburn Chapter of DAR, Greencastle.

She married Oscar Lee McKamey on May 30,1930. He died Oct. 5,1982.

Survivors include a son, J. B. McKamey and wife Nancy, Pensacola Fla.; two sisters, Helen McNary, Greencastle, and Betty Becker, Chicago; a sister-in-law, Lena Bryan, Fillmore; three grand children, Janice Sowers and husband Steven, Jacksonville Fla., Jacquelyn Fraley and husband Brad, Round Rock Texas, and John McKamey and wife Janet, Newberry, Fla.; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Kenneth Bryan, Maurice Bryan and Russell Bryan, and a sister Virginia Graves.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Fillmore Cemetery with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating.

Visitation is set for 4-7 p. m. Wednesday at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
